FAQ
-
Does my young person have to audition to be able to come to AMA?We do not audition. All young people are accepted. We see this session as you deciding if we are the right fit for your young person.
-
What should my young person wear? For your first session, if you are coming straight from school, you can continue to wear your school uniform. If you are coming from home, feel free to wear anything comfortable and flat shoes. Trainers are fine! Anything that respects your young person’s modesty. Leggings and a top are best, but we encourage all young people to express themselves.
-
Should my young person bring a drink or snack? Please do bring a filled water bottle to drink. We don’t encourage snacks at session due to the risk of choking or a stitch, unless your little one has a medical condition where we can monitor them carefully.
-
How much does it cost to take part in AMA?At AMA Performing Arts, all payments are made on a monthly basis. The total session fees for the academic year are evenly distributed across 12 months to provide an affordable and consistent payment plan for parents. While the number of sessions may vary between terms depending on their length, your monthly payment remains the same throughout the year. All payments are securely managed through our GoCardless direct debit system.

Where can I buy an AMA Merchandise? If you would like one of the AMA t-shirts or merchandise, we will be asking parents for their interest at the beginning of each school term, before making any purchases. The AMA "stash" will be refreshed every September! So please keep an eye (or two!) out for new apparel!
